One of my campers from my team gave me these pair of earrings before leaving El Campo. They are an adorable pair with a Kyrgyz national pattern on them. I will cherish them as well as the memory of her and the time I had at camp the last 12 days forever. It was an awesome and inspiring experience the kids were all so wonderful and fun. They all have big dreams and I truly believe in them. I can’t wait to work at El Campo again next years and work with more Kyrgyzstani youth.

Just finished my 5th book since being in Kyrgyzstan!
The list so far includes:
The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind -William Kamkwamba
The Perks of Being a Wallflower-Stephen Chbosky
Jamilia-Chingiz Aitmatov
Ten Toes Down-Asher Conrad
I Am Malala-Malala Yousafzai

And I read Wild-Cheryl Strayed right before coming here

If you have any suggestions of inspiring or interesting books for me to read I’d love to hear them!
I also am in possession of all of the BBC’s Top 100 books to read before you die so thoughts of which of those are worth it are appreciated.
